Africa Centers of Excellence International Partnerships Workshop

The two Regional Facilitating Units for the Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence projects, the Inter-University Council for East Africa and the Association of African Universities in collaboration with the World Bank and the AFD are organizing the first African Centers of Excellence International Partnership Workshop. This workshop will be held at the Intercontinental Mauritius Resort, Balaclava Fort, Mauritius, from Wednesday, May 8, to Friday, May 10, 2024

The International Partnership Workshop will leverage the collaborative opportunities outlined in the AU-EU Innovation Agenda, to foster engagement and knowledge exchange between Africa, Europe, and other continents. This inclusive gathering will feature prominent government officials from Europe and Africa, representatives from the private sector, university leaders (Vice Chancellors), academics from host institutions, and experts from policy think tanks and development partners such as the World Bank and AFD.
